-Team rocks 34th Sassenberg Triathlon

On August 7, 2022, our colleagues Thomas Leutner, Igor Visnjevski and Malte Smotzok took part in the 34th Sassenberg Triathlon in perfect weather. Equipped with team shirts, the trio started at 11:00 am in the relay competition.

Thomas Leutner covered the 700 m swimming distance in the Sassenberger Feldmarksee in only 10:39 min and thus gained a very good lead. The baton was passed to Igor Visnjevski, who completed the 23 km bike course in the now increasing midday heat. In the final sprint Malte Smotzok mastered the 5 km running distance in 28:15 min.

In the end, this added up to a lot of fun and a respectable 12th place out of a total of 30 participating teams.
